SUMMARY:Croydon Libraries writing competition: What would Dickens do?
DESCRIPTION:Win a £25 gift voucher!    In Oliver Twist\, Dickens shows his readers what it was like to be a child growing up in the nineteenth century.  Imagining you are Charles Dickens\, write a short story or article about what it is like to be a child growing up in Croydon in 2012.    Entries should be a maximum of 800 words and will be judged in two age categories:     Ages 11-15   Adults aged 16 and over    Please ensure that your entry includes your name\, address and telephone number and your age\, if entering the 11-15 year category.   Entries should be emailed or handed in to any Croydon library by Friday 4 May 2012. The winner in each category will receive a £25 gift voucher.
